What is arthritis?

Arthritis is the painful inflammation and stiffness of the joints, often accompanied by pain, swelling, stiffness, and deformity. It can affect one joint or more.

In the bible, this common disease is referred as the curse of disobedience! God said, “…if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of LORD thy God, to observe all his commandments…then…The LORD shall smite thee with…an inflammation…The LORD shall smite thee in the knees… Deuteronomy 28:15,22,35. This description fits the arthritis of today.

There are three common types of arthritis.
1. Osteoarthritis
2. rheumatoid arthritis
3. Gout

“it is the duty of every person to become intelligent in regard to disease and its causes…”{HL 19.5}
Arthritis is often traced to an imbalance of calcium and phosphorus.  It is characterized by inflammation and pain in a joint or joints such as in the knees, wrists, elbows, fingers, toes, hips, and shoulders

1. Lack of enough water.
2. Sugar. sugar dissolves calcium, and a lack of calcium can cause inflammation in the blood stream, sugar breaks up into carbon dioxide and water carbon dioxide then recombines with the water to produce carbonic acid this is what makes the blood highly acidic.
3. spices
4. vinegar poisons the blood and causes inflammation
5. condiments
6. additives
7. canned items causes inflammation of the blood
8. alcoholic beverages
9. milk
10. Eggs. These are the number one item, richest item in aracidonic acid that produces prostaglandin 1, which is one of the principle precursors that causes inflammation of the joints: 1 egg can cause inflammation in the body for one month
11. Stress
12. Coffee
13. chocolate

1. pain in joints, knee, back, etc
2. stiffness
3. inflammation
4. redness
5. hard to use hands
6. bony spurs on joints or fingers (bumps)

Natural Remedies

1. Trust in God. With all your heart, claim His healing promises. Jer 30:17
2. Correct all wrong habits. Avoid the following
(i) All flesh items and their bi-products.
(ii) Eggs and milk
(iii) Tobacco
(iv) Deny yourself food a day or two. Use water only. This is great for cleansing the body of toxins.

3. Assist nature to heal herself. The following items can help
(i) Charcoal drink. Mix 2 tablespoon of charcoal in a glass of warm water and drink in the morning on empty stomach 3 times a week.
(ii) Potato juice. Chop a sweet potato in a glass of water, let it stay overnight and drink the juice on empty stomach. For those who may access the juicer, you may juice potato for a drink. (I have not said you eat raw potatoes)
(iii) Apply charcoal poultice on the joints, whenever convenient. Especially the knee joints.
Sweet potato poultice is also great
(iv) Apply ginger of cayenne for pain on the joints. (do not use cayenne internally, save for emergency)
(v) Pumpkin seeds. these are very high in magnesium a lack of magnesium can causes arthritis a closed fist full without any seeping out the sides be sure these are raw, unsalted without oil.
(vi) Honey is said to be great for inflammation. eat it in your baked goods, on your cereal, on toast,
(vii) Lemon juice in water. lemon juice is the #1 remedy for rheumatism “i use lemon juice freely. It is the best thing you could use for rheumatism…”(2MR 48.1)
(viii) a cabbage poultice is great for inflammation
